PDX Loves Signing offers Family Sign Language lessons in Portland, Oregon. Utilizing the catchy tunes, fun graphics and memorable characters from the hit PBS show, Signing Time, Carissa's classes offer real American Sign Language signs, basic fingerspelling, signing tips, and introduces children and parents to Deaf Culture through stories, books and guests. Classes are offered for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school children, and private lessons are always available if there isn't a class that fits your schedule. Carissa also has experience teaching signs to children, and adults, with speech delays and learning disabilities, and would be happy to include your child with special needs in her classes.
